Kitchen Tales Of Culture And Cuisine

I wrote an article for the Oct. 10 issue of the Tripod chronicling some of my experiences from my work as a waiter. About 30 feet from Mr. and Mrs. X sipping their [insert name of nice bottle of wine here] to soft melodies, their beautifully plated entrees resting on spotless white linen, dirty dishes pile up, flames rise to the ceilings, and meals are plated furiously to the tune of expletive-ridden shouts in varying degrees of accent.

WGRAC's Voices Raised in Power Event A Success

Last Thursday, Nov. 8 the Women & Gender Resource Action Center, Sexual Assault Task Force & Sexual Assault Response Team hosted the third annual 'Voices Raised in Power' event at Gallows Hill to promote awareness about violence against women. Students put on several performances, all with a message of empowerment.
