On Saturday, Nov. 8, students from American Studies 301, Junior Seminar on American Texts, visited the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center at Nook Farm in Hartford, Conn. Nearly everyone has heard of Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, and many have read the work itself.
