Due to economic downturn, the Individualized Degree Program (IDP) will be undergoing major reconstruction. The program will continue to operate, but it is speculated that changes will be made by cutting parts of it. Trinity's IDP, a Program designed in the early 1970s to provide an alternative to the standard four-year classroom program, is open to adults ages 23 and older.

He was chosen for this post "in recognition of his extraordinary knowledge of the Chapel and his dedication to educational ministry," according to a press release on the Trinity College Web site.
